HelpAge India is a leading voluntary organization working with and for senior citizens in India for 27 years. It is a secular, not-for-profit organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI 1860 (Regn. No. S/9270).

• 54 Mobile Medicare Units take quality healthcare to the doorsteps of needy older people across the country
• Over 40,000 vision restoration operations are conducted each year
• More than 17,000 elderly destitute have been embraced under the Adopt a Gran program
• 194 Old Age Homes, 56 Hospitals and 98 Day Care Centres come under the HelpAge India umbrella
• Various livelihood projects to restore and re-establish dignity and independence of elderly are supported across the country
• Disaster management during and after the Tsunamis, super cyclone of Orissa, the Gujarat earthquake
• Advocacy campaigns to bring forward the plight of the elderly
• Championing rights of the elderly wherever, whenever
