INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY (INDSTT


The Indian Society for Trenchless Technology (INDSTT), the apex body in the Trenchless Technology in India, was established in 1995. It has association with the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT), U.K. Society was registered under SR Act of 1860 with registration number 32943 of 1998.



Founders of this Society include various luminaries from the Construction Sector.



During this period of Eight years since its inception INDSTT has taken up various initiatives to develop and popularize the application of Trenchless Technology in the country by way of organizing number of Seminars / Workshops. This endeavour has given a boost to this unique technology which is environment friendly, economical and faster then other methods. To name a few, M/s MTNL, NBCC, HUDCO, GAIL, Electricity Boards and Municipal Corporations has successfully implemented and used this system in their projects is definitely a sign of making a modern India which is marching ahead with other developing European countries.
